CHRISTIAN FESTIVAL
Welcome to the
website of the "Örvendj népem!" -- "Rejoyce my People!" Christian
Festival!
Our Festival is an
ecumenically opened, but Catholic-based event. It was born in 2002
with double purposes:
First, we would
like to give an opportunity for our non-believer friends to meet
Jesus Christ who is First, we would like to give an opportunity for
our non-believer friends to meet Jesus Christ who is the Way, the
Thruth and Life, the source of our every joy. So we have an
evangelistic goal..
Secondly, we
Christians need a day to rejoyce and worship together our Lord Jesus
Christ together, apart from all our denominational differences! So
it is also a day of refreshment.
The Catholic
Charismatic Communities of the area are the organizers of the event
through the 'Adonaj' Civil Association in Ada (Vojvodina, Serbia) --
but we are also very opened to the participation and ideas of other
communities, denominations.
